In 1996, the Institute of Technology and Management was established under the aegis of Educate India Society. It was granted University status in 2009-10, and later renamed as The NorthCap University in 2015.

Admission Process
The NorthCap University admission forms can be filled by visiting the official website. Post this, a merit list will be prepared & published based on the merit marks of students in the requisite entrance test and an Offer Letter will be issued to them. However, for some of the courses, students may have to appear for the Group Discussion (GD) / Personal Interview (PI) round, as applicable.
